If I were you, I wouldn't hesitate a second and would made this stew as soon as I can. In a pot over medium heat, saute the onions and scotch bonnet pepper until translucent in the palm oil.
Instructions to make Almond stew:
- Melt the butter or heat the oil in a saucepan. Fry the onions until soft. 1. Add diced meat and spices.
- Saute for 5 minutes until meat colour is brown.
- Transfer fried meat to a pot.
- Add 3 cups of water to the meat and cook it for 1 hour.
- 30 minutes after cooking meat, add lemon juice, saffron water, slivered almond and finally season with salt.
- Cook the stew over low heat for next 30 minutes. - Serve stew with fried eggs on top of it and saffron rice. - - Nosh-e jaan

If I were you, I wouldn't hesitate a second and would made this stew as soon as I can. In a pot over medium heat, saute the onions and scotch bonnet pepper until translucent in the palm oil. Turn the heat down to low and begin adding in the ground almonds. Persian Green Almond Stew (Khoresh Chaghaleh Badoom) is a real special meal made with parsley, mint, beef, dried lemons and green almonds (available in the spring).
