- Get 1 envelope Good Seasons Italian Dressing
- Take 4 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
- Get 1/2 cup olive oil, extra virgin
If you don't like onions skip it, if you love cucumber then load up on them. If you're a fan of the classic salad for which this recipe is named, you're sure to love this savory, flavor-packed dish. The best part—besides the taste—is that it's packed with vital nutrients. Swap out whole grain pasta to bump up the fiber, and make the dressing with a mix of mayo, sour cream, and Greek yogurt to keep it on the lighter side (rather than using all mayo).
Instructions to make Low Fat Pasta Salad:
- Prepare pasta according to box.
- Mix your Good Seasons Italian Dressing as directed, using the balsamic vinegar and olive oil..
- Combine all ingredients and mix well.
- I find it's better the next day, so if you can, let it chill overnight.

Swap out whole grain pasta to bump up the fiber, and make the dressing with a mix of mayo, sour cream, and Greek yogurt to keep it on the lighter side (rather than using all mayo). Drain the pasta and asparagus, and rinse them in cold water. Mix together mayonnaise (I used this delicious Chosen Foods avocado oil mayo !), sour cream, and Dijon mustard in a bowl. Stir the mixture into the pasta and asparagus, together with some halved cherry tomatoes.
